So You Think You Can Dance Canada - TorontOh!

So You Think You Can Dance Canada - Finals Auditions in Toronto - Ep. 204
Judges: Jean-Marc Généreux, Tré Armstrong, Luther Brown, Blake McGrath

I never know how to blog this episode so I'm just going to type as I watch and basically wait for the Top 20 announcement on Sunday. And I'd better see... (I'll put my wishlist at the bottom)!

First up: Hip-Hop - Choreographed by: Luther Brown

Corynne Barron, Tiger Son and Jeff Mortensen (above) have to dance for their lives and all make it through.

Joel Ronnie is out.

Vincent Desjardins is still in, as is Melanie Mah (above).

Jeremiah Hughes who tried out for both the Canadian and American version before, moves on but is wearing thin on the judges. He doesn't end up making it through on the next round.

Jason Noël is still in too.

Next up: Jazz - Choreographed by: Tre Armstrong
And there's partnering involved.
It's actually a pretty cool montage of the rehearsal process. Tre's a great dancer and I like watching it all happen. Though she's tough.

A total hottie Danny something makes it through.
Anthony Grafton, the ballroom guy, makes it through.
Emanuel Sandhu moves on, his partner Ariel doesn't.

NOOO.My fave ray of sunshine Melissa Grafton doesn't make it through. Tiger Son doesn't last either.

Everett, who taught others the routine, forgot the routine. Ouch, he has to dance for his life.

Melanie and Vincent are still in. Jenny the twin is still in. So is Camille Norton who survives dancing for her life. As does cutie Sebastian Mirsh (?).

Next up: Samba - Choreographed by: Jean-Marc Généreux and France
With another paired auditions.

Lots of screaming from JM and the auditions starts.

Nicolas Bégin is paired with Camille and both move on. Melanie Mah and Vincent continue on again... do I start seeing the Top 20?

Cody "Babyface" Bonnell (slow hip-hopper) moves on!

Sante "stripper" makes it through.

Next up: Overnight Choreography! Groups must choreograph their own routine. Uh Oh!

Cody Bonnell asks to dance for his life when Blake and Luther didn't like it.

Jonathan Arsineau (above) and Jeff Morgensen's group flops with Shelaina Anderson who copped out early to go to sleep and gets herself cut. YES! I never liked her.

Ringette girl Corynne Baron barely makes it through "dance for your life".

Last up: Contemporary - Choreographed by: Blake McGrath

Jonathan Arsineau, Juliet Irons, Anthony Grafton, Jason Noel, Nicole Bowswer, Austin, Danny Lawn are amongst those that move on to the final solos.

Jamie Rae Dailey of the twins makes it. Her sister Jenna does not. Neither does Sante. Nor does B-Boy Paul Koos.

Taylor, the tall blonde, makes it. Daniel Dori, Kim Gringras.

Cody Bonnell and Melanie Mah makes it. As does Amy Gardner and Danielle Gardner. Jeff Mortensen, Chloe, Sebastian Mirsch. Corynne Barron, Emanuel Sandhu, Emmett, Nicolas Bégin and Vincent Desjardins all move on.

Vincent (above) is totally my favorite right now. Even in the background, he stands out during these auditions.

There are now 46 dancers left for the final solo and the final cut to 20.

Guess we will find out Sunday night at 9pm on a special episode on CTV. (Wait, they're going to compete against their own sister networks showing of ABDC? Really?)

I'm hoping to see Vincent Desjardin, Cody Bonnell, Jeff Mortensen, Sebastian Mirsch (?), Nicolas Bégin, Jonathan Arsineau, Danny Lawn (?), Taylor up there. Maybe Emmett (?). The Asian B-Boys that I liked are already cut so I guess that's that.

Oh, and Gessuri Gaitan (above). Is he still in? I didn't notice if he got cut so I'll assume he's still in.

For the girls, Camille has got to be a shoo-in right? Maybe the remaining twin Jamie Rae Dailey, Melanie Mah is in for sure right? She's got to be!

Of course, there were still so many of the 46 that they barely showed that the Top 20 is still a total mystery. Guess we'll find out, and hopefully they'll populate it as good as they did the first season!
